PreCallBot (Ship to Prod hackathon)

A bot that briefs you about the person you're about to meet, built at my first San Francisco hackathon.

My first hackathon in San Francisco

On April 24, 2026, I got second place at my first hackathon in San Francisco. It took place at the AWS Builder Loft and was organized by Tokens & AI.

I built PreCallBot with Agustin Alvarez and Sachin Meier.

What we built

PreCallBot is a bot you call by phone—or simply read on the web—to get a briefing about the person you're about to meet. It's useful for people such as salespeople and founders who have many meetings throughout the day and want to walk into each one prepared.

We built it using InsForge, Vapi, WunderGraph, and TinyFish.

What comes next

At the event, we met Hang Huang and Tony Chang, founders of InsForge, who encouraged us to continue because they saw potential in the product.

The next step would be talking to salespeople to understand how they currently prepare for meetings and discover what they actually want from a product like this.

At this point, it would be cool to say that I'll continue all-in with PreCallBot. My first thought, though, was: there are so many good ideas and so much work to do that I wish I had the time to build them all.

If I'm too unfocused, I'll get neither here nor there. But then I remembered that we're exactly in the era when we can build them all, aren't we?

So, what should I do?
